 have a oral conversation related to their decision.
 have a oral conversation related to their reason for decision using ‘because’.

World cup game

Students have to choose final 2 items among 32 items when they must be in inhabited island for 10 days using the World Cup game.

After students have decided best 2 items, they are required to post the 2 items on the padlet.

-Play the world cup game, and post the best two items on the padlet.

-What if you are trapped in an inhabited island?
Speaking 1-Thinking

Students are given a specific situation of quarantine. They are encouraged to decide 3 items and reasons. Worksheet is in the google classroom.

-Choose 3 items and figure out the reasons for each item.
Speaking 2-pair work
Students are divided into pairs in Zoom breakout rooms. They have a conversation and they’ve got to make a memo on 3 items of their partners.
-Share the items and reasons with your partner.

-Listen carefully to what your partner says, and take a note.
Speaking 3-whole class
Students are gathered in the whole Zoom session. Students are required to give a short presentation of what their partners’ best 3 items and reasons.

-Would you share your partner’s items and reasons with classmates?
Wrap up
We review what we’ve done in today’s class.
-You were able to decide and orally share the decisions.
