Choose a word and give students a fixed amount of time to write down the first 10 words that come to mind related to the original word.  (Possible Original Words: creativity, success, school, family)

After the students have completed that task, ask them to write a sentence describng how the last three words on their list are related to the original word.  Students can then discuss what they wrote in small groups.
