What did you eat for breakfast today?
Let’s watch a video and answer the questions.
  1. What did they eat?
  2. Where did they go after?
I made ‘Fill in the blanks’ with the story.
Let’s read the words in the blanks together.
     ‘Identify the five food groups’
We’re going to identify the five food groups.

Development
1.Organize The five food groups”
First, What are the five food groups?
(Collaborate; Students post the five food groups)
The five food groups are grains, vegetables, fruits, protein, daily. Which food group do you eat the most?
(Draw the food groups graph on the whiteboard and check how many servings we eat a day)
2. Guess food(speaking, body gestures, sounds) and classify the food cards into their plates

We’re going to play a ‘Guessing food game’.
It’s a group game.
What can you say when you explain food?
(color, texture, taste, cuisine, when you usually eat)
The team who says the correct answer will get the card and the person who says the answer will explain the next food card. Now you are going to classify the food cards that you have into the five food groups on your plate. (Check the teams’ plates and if they are healthy)
3. Draw your favorite food and classify the ingredients into the five food groups
Draw your favorite food and write down the ingredients. Classify the ingredients into the five food groups.
