- Before reading the text of lesson 8, we are going to review the words and build the background knowledge.
-Here are what we are going to do... | Activity1 Catch the Words! (10mins) | -T gives out worksheet 1 and tells Ss what is ‘Catch the Words!’.
-T shows a video clip with some words appearing during playing. -T checks the answer with students.
| -Watch the video clip and fill out the worksheet with Korean meanings of the words appearing in the video. You should pay attention because the words disappear really fast.
-Let’s check the answers together by watching the video clip one more time. | Activity2 In Search of Our History (15mins) | -T shows a video clip “In Search of Our Lost History - Dr. PARK Byeong-seon”.
-T asks students to answer questions about the video clip in Kahoot!.
